Academic Dean and Associate Professor Janine Joyce is an interdisciplinary social scientist with the Centre for People, Place and Planet, Edith Cowan University focusing on projects related to ecosystem resilience, climate justice and transformative responses to global environmental change.

 

She is particularly interested in interdisciplinary participatory projects that build and maintain community adaptive capacity in response to ongoing stressors such as climate displacement, and other social-psychological-environmental stressors.

 

She is experienced in contributing to projects that are both informed and prioritise Indigenous knowledge systems.
